Sandlewood oil has been used for century all over the world.
To harvest a good quality of this oil, the trees need to be at lest 40 years old, that's why the essential oil is very expansive on the market.
Sandlewood essential oil is mostly used as skin antiseptic. Its main component, santanol, has antimicrobial property.
